We are a body of believers committed to worshipping and serving Jesus Christ. As a Southern Baptist Church, we join with likeminded Christians in spreading the gospel around the world.
Our slogan "A Place Where God Is Changing Lives" is more than just a catchy phrase. It truly is a place where God is changing the lives of our people. It is our desire that others will experience the blessing that we have recieved in serving Jesus Christ, and being part of our church family.
We believe that Christ reaches out to people of all ages and backgrounds and brings them together to do His work. At our church we desire to do the same, that is why at Burkesville Baptist Church you will discover that God has brought together a very diverse group of people, and our ministries are geared to various life stages and needs. You will find that we have a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, fellowship together, and minister to others through numerous service opportunities. Worship Services - We here at BBC beleive that worship should be an experience that you look forward too. We have a blended worship style which includes a wide range of music from comtemporary praise songs to traditional hymns. Our Pastor, tells folks who are thinking about visiting, "We are a come as you are church" You will feel as comfortable in blue jeans and a shirt, as you would in a suit. We are proud of our diversity, and invite you to join us for a worship experience that will draw you closer to Christ from the moment you walk through our doors. |

Women On Missions - Women on missions is one of the oldest mission arms of the church. They meet monthly to plan, and pray for various mission programs of our church, and throughout the world. Their slogan is more than just a catch phrase, it is their mission to take the gospel into all the world by whatever means it takes. Whether through feeding the hispanic families who attend weekly worship services, to collecting books for Polish students attending seminary in Warsaw Polland. The WMU is continues to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, and they welcome you to come, join in the work. |
| Men On Missions - Men on Missions is an exciting mens ministry used to reach into our community to spread the Gospel. Our men on missions ministries are as varied as the group itself. From hosting a church wide 5th Sunday Breakfast, to being one of the yearly stops on the National "Fisher's of Men" bass fishing tour trail. Men on missions do it all. We would love to have you be a part of this growing, and exciting ministry. |

Youth/Children On Mission - Burkesville Baptist Church believes in missions. Therefore, we encourage our youth and children to participate in their own missions group. The youth and the children both are invovled in hands on mission projects, from helping with the ministry at Dale Hollow State Park, or with home repair projects. There is a mission group for every age, no matter how young. Come, and join the fun of sharing Christ by whatever means it takes! |
